I am reading this for a book discussion… loving learning about our country via the Blue Highways’ slower pace… the scenic route! My reading is taking this journey nice and easy like William is journeying! I will miss the discussion so I might stop along the way and experience other works! I don’t think William Least Heat-Moon would be offended!

This book reminds me of Sophie’s World… in fact in today’s art visit there is a reference to Socrates.. Gnôthi seautón … Know yourself.

I meant to start this book at the beginning of the year, but it did not happen! Plans are just that plans! So, this was going to be a journey of reading through the 52 weeks of 2026. So… I am doing a little catch up this weekend and will read until I start next week with 4th piece of art that Mona and her grandfather will visit and discuss…
I am just a week into their life through art journey and I LOVE it!
