This book was not created for the audiobook format. Every other sentence is the thesis of a modern self help book. So dense I feel like it needs to be studied with a highlighter and sticky notes.

when the plot is driven completely by a side character… hm.

The perfect character for this kind of literature. When something reads too poetic, or a word choice comes off as pretentious, or an observation seems judgy… the residue left behind just seeps into Cyrus as a character. And that’s who he is anyway. It allows the author to take WAY more risks. Very cool.

Chapter 3 is crazy work???
