Oh my god I just remembered why I never finished this book, it was because I was listening to the audiobook and I hated that fuck ass Brooklyn accent 😭😭😭

I’ve gotten just halfway through this book twice in the last couple years but Scott and Kip are on my actual tv screen now all adorable so I’m giving it another try

4th read lol. I just finished watching the first two episodes and I gotta say it’s such a good adaptation, I was floored. So well casted. I’m impatient for the rest of the episodes so reread time.

Brought this to the beach with me and flew through 100 pages this morning. I can’t get enough of this book.

I like this a lot!! It has my kid’s name in it and I do not usually like to read books with my kid’s name in them lol I think this one’s fine though. Also, this book reminds me a little of Bury Our Bones in the Midnight Soil, the bits with the artist and the Italian dude. That book also briefly had my kid’s name in it 🥲

Reading a lot of contemporary romance means that sometimes a book is going to reference the “there are two wolves inside you” meme and I just have to get used to that

I just finished making the mistake of watching Fellow Travelers and All of Us Strangers back to back both for the first time and I feel dead inside so hopefully this trilogy remains cozy and fun to read because I can’t handle anything sad I’m going to actually vomit from sad

I’ve been in the weirdest slump, I don’t care much about reaching a reading goal this year but I would like to finish another book at some point?!? 😭 after staring at the same page of a Steinbeck novel for days, I decided I needed this.

A good chunk of this book is lesbian vampire bridgerton so that’s fun

I don’t think I’m confused anymore. I wouldn’t put this book down today at all if I didn’t have to, I love it.

I’ve only ever annotated one other book (it was cmbyn LOLLL) but I’m doing it with this one as I re-read. I’m going to become that person that carries the same book around everywhere I go.

I could fly through this book again, I love it so much, but I’m trying to savor every word.

So I originally gave this 5 stars when I read it a year ago but I think I was blinded by my love for the characters and was somehow able to overlook that fucking fedora?????????
