I like books like these where they start on page -45 so you feel like you've accomplished nothing after like 2 hours of reading.

i like books like these bc this was published in 1994 and they spend a while describing the process and impacts of redlining and systemic institutional disinvestment. like, all this was never a secret. books like The Color of Law claim that this was a "forgotten" history but it was really only "forgotten" by white amerikkka.

I promise I'm not weird, I'm reading this with my friend. I'm sitting my white ass down and listening to female voices!

this book could easily be half its length if the authors shut the fuck up about air traffic control

this book is funny bc it was written in 2005 and bitches about the scourge of cellular phones that can take photographs (and send them to other people with cellular phones)
