By golly I think this may be on my Top 5 List for 2016. It's freaking fantastic. So in love with Ike and even though George has his issues I really can't help the soft spot forming in my chest for him.

Very interesting...I think I'm going to enjoy this one! Dangerous asshole vs fiery little female. Love the writing style and the plot is different from what I've been reading lately. Bound to be darkly intense but it's refreshing.

Jesse and Charlie have me rather intrigued. In the beginning I wasn't so sure about the direction of the book. I didn't like the way Charlie's self image was conveyed BUT getting into the meatier part of the story, it is making sense now. I am looking forward to the second half of the book - Part II from Jesse's POV. Stay tuned!

I think I need a break from George... :( I don't like her any more in this one than in book 1. Maybe I'll come back around to it or just skip right to Marley.

Ehhh...not really feeling it yet. It seems a bit awkward in the Gaston dept. A bit TOO forceful maybe?

I've been reading this with a constant lump in my throat and tears burning my eyes, threatening to overflow...Does it get any easier?!? I think this tops the scales in the emotion dept. Usually books start out slow and build you to a crescendo but this one is full force from the beginning. It's a painfully beautiful masterpiece.

...dark, chilling, heart wrenching. Honestly I'm a little scared to keep going but I have to see this play out no matter how it ends. “Does your heart still beat...with the ache and pain there? Ok Colleen...you have my attention. Love it so far. Very unique plot!

I'm not really getting this one...some major plot ADD and the insta-love is really a huge turnoff unfortunately. I was thinking this would be a dark, twisted book but really just juicy snippets thrown in a southern soap opera plot :-/ I haven't felt a connection with any of the characters yet but I'm not the type to DNF easily. I'll keep booking along...

Loving this book....so glad I got an ARC copy. Lisa's story is HOT....don't know if Damion will make the naughty or nice list this year ;) I think I like him naughty personally...

Wow. This is my first book by Gena and I was hooked by the end of the prologue! Annabelle is strong, fierce and tormented by her parent's death.
