Is it just me or does this read like ‘Meg’ by Steve Alten?

So far, no good.

So far, this book is riddled with typos, poor grammar, missing words, incohesive narrative. I'm getting the impression that the author is just throwing words in as filler. It feels contrived, sloppy, lazy. Heck, I'm only on the 13th page! I hate to judge a book by its cover but if this continues, I won't last. Perhaps Paul Tremblay should stick to mathematics, after all? Shame, the premise sounds interesting.

Maybe... Maybe... Maybe... Yeah, maybe I should just toss this piece of crap into the trash can and be done with it. Or... Better yet, burn it so that no one else succumbs to wasting their precious time and energy on it.

I had indeed liked Diary Amy (damn her!). Afterall, she was meant to be likable. Meant for someone like me to like her.

This is the part where he tells me he has a mistress and I stop liking him? News flash: I stopped liking him a long time ago and had already suspected as much... And yeah, just for good measure, suck it snobdouche!

I can't help but wonder about the nature of Josie and Jack's relationship. All the signs point to it, keep eluding to it... Yet I can't bring myself to believe it. I hope I'm wrong. I don't know if I can handle it.
