Ok, this has my nerves shattered. Adryan is approaching the third realm. He's there and I'm afraid there's going to be some kind of trick. He get past the Gatekeeper and the unthinkable happens!!!

George Lucas and Steven Spielberg need to do the movie version of this book. It is incredible how this author has created multi-universes so well thought out with such detail and precision. The descriptions and imagery are amazing. It has me on the edge of my seat as I journey with Adryan as he goes on The Righteous Journey. He has gone through the first gate and it was a rollercoaster ride to say the least.

I am still enjoying the read. It is so suspenseful. The Righteous Journey that Adryan is on has been fraught with heart stopping challenges. I love the new group of people he has encountered and I can't to see him battle the bully that has pretty much taken over the people that Adryan is trying to protect.

I am loving this book and most of all the world building and writing. Wow. So many interesting elements. I love the protagonist, Adryan. He has captured my heart and I'm rooting for him while he goes on The Righteous Journey. I was on the edge of my seat when he had his first stop along the way. He discovered a group of people living in a cave, people who had no reverence for him until he came to their rescue.

Loving this book. The writing is so good. Loving how creative the author is. There's something called The Existence. It's the equivalent of God. At this point we have been introduced to MEZZO Lord Adryan's son and wife. I love the relationships
So many interesting things in this world. There is telepathic communication. Adryan has been given a lofty assignment. Can't wait to see how it turns out.

This author is a master at world building. I love the setting. I can visualize everything and I love how the protagonist, Mezzo-lord Adryan Sordyce is introduced, fresh from battle. Things get tense when Mezzo-lord Yafeu comes for him. I was on the edge of my seat as they battled each other. To my chagrin, Adryan lost the battle but not the war. I already love him and the Leader Lord Danlee.

I'm enjoying the read. The beginning was hard because of all the abuse. I could definitely relate to all of it. Poverty, peeing in the bed, trauma. So many of us have suffered as children. We're miracles now.

Wow, I feel like I've been all over the world. I have gotten completely swept up in Kerry's story. When she was in India, I was in India. When she was in Africa, I was in Africa. This has been a whirlwind and I'm enjoying the ride. The more I read, the more I realize how brilliant, complex, and compassionate this woman is. In spite of her demons, she forges through. I cried when I read about her experience on Django.

I'm amazed at how transparent Kerry is with her life. She reveals so many intimate situations and thoughts especially about her parents. From what I can tell, they have a very close relationship today. I'm in awe of her parents. I admire them for being okay with Kerry telling this story that involves so much of their lives.

FROZEN is a very powerful CHAPTER. No spoliers here, but it had me on the edge of my seat, yelling at Kerry, wanting her to stay the course, so that she could solve the mystery. As an actress myself, her journey to getting an agent is fascinating. Love how shes reveals her struggle to navigate her life & career and her belief that it was her responsibility to take care of her parents emotionally and financially.

I loved the chapter titled FISH. Kerry goes in deep about her relationship with water and how it became her safe haven. .I telt like I was there with her as a child enjoying the pool where she lived with her friends. My heart went out to her while I read the chapter MAGICAL THINKING. Growing up in a disfunctional home, i could relate to her pain. I too imagined being someone else when my stepfather would beat me.

This is still really captivating. There are some connections with certain people I wasn't expecting. . D'Qundray's life as a slave has truly changed him. I can't wait to find out where Elijah and Bradley have traveled.

I'm a little past the midpoint of the book and am still enjoying it. T.O. is a master ar description. It really draws me into the story. D'Quandray made it back home after transporting to the plantation and his return with his new found appreication for his life of luxurty and freedom brought me to tears. T.O. really wrote the heck out of the scene. I love how the story alternates from current day to the slavery.

Ok I need to go to bed. it's almost 2am. I can't put this book down. D'Qundray has time traveled to a plantation and is experiencing some horrible things. I don't want to include spoilers. He's been there five years and has befriended several slaves. I'm on the edge of my seat afraid of what might end up happening. This is a trip, a totally different life for him. OMG.

A lot has happened since my last post which should be 14 % not page 14. D'qundray, Elijah & Bradley have meant Marissa who was appointed by her grandpa yrs ago to introduce them to time travel. They enter phase 1 and to say that the whole experience had me swirling in anxiety would be an understatement. D'Qundray who has little to no black consciousness has chosen to go back to slavery. Needless to say I'm scared!

I started Circa 1740 and am hooked. The opening is Fire! I was tensing up & gritting my teeth. Burnett's a pro at describing action scenes. I remember many of them from his Sapien series. I don't want to include spoilers, but the book will grab you from the start. There are some interesting characters introduced in C1: D'Quandray a former basketball star, Maliq, Bradley, & Elijah. I'm already connecting to them.

Wow. I was scared for the children at he orphanage. So glad my fears weren't realized. Mulati is something else. I was hoping he would find a way out. But then...yikes. T.O. Burnett's writing is so descriptive, you feel like you're in the scene. I look forward to more of this wild ride.

The Prowlers are on the move, capturing more and more people. I was on the edge of my seat when the Whisper Crew were interrogated. They stayed true and didn't speak a word, but that put the orphanage at risk. I was on the edge of my seat wondering what was going to happen. Yeung Chow Lo took care of business. I can't wait to see what Mulati, Sampa and Bjorn do. I want them to escape. Excited about more adventure.
