Wow. I was scared for the children at he orphanage. So glad my fears weren't realized. Mulati is something else. I was hoping he would find a way out. But then...yikes. T.O. Burnett's writing is so descriptive, you feel like you're in the scene. I look forward to more of this wild ride.

The Prowlers are on the move, capturing more and more people. I was on the edge of my seat when the Whisper Crew were interrogated. They stayed true and didn't speak a word, but that put the orphanage at risk. I was on the edge of my seat wondering what was going to happen. Yeung Chow Lo took care of business. I can't wait to see what Mulati, Sampa and Bjorn do. I want them to escape. Excited about more adventure.

Still enjoying the read. Was happy to know Beth is still around. Hoping Corto and Francois can save Mulati, Sampa and Bjorn. Love the twist with Makayla and Onin Gesh. I didn't see their capture coming. A lot going on. Never a dull moment.

T.O. Burnett is a very smart writer. I love his phrasing and the words he uses. I'm also enjoying the Whisper crew, especially Mulati and Sampa. I don't like their current situation but I did love that kiss

I'm loving this book already. It starts out with a bang. Love the world T.O Burnett has created. The description s are vivid and captivating. He is a master at describing a battle. Don't want to give things away but there's a whip that leads to a violent death. It was quite the twist. Having read the first two books, it's a treat when characters from the previous installments come onto the scene.
