Well it is not the easiest book to read. Too many paragraphs dedicated to irrelevant details.
I'm at 20 % where is the all consuming time travel romance that I expected

I enjoyed SaB and as a music lover I want to highlight the absolutely gorgeous OST that fits perfectly. Like there are these Alina themes that at the start sound noble and honorable at the beginning and then slowly, gradually the music turns dark and ominous

literally probably my favourite hades/persephone book series ever I can't stop thinking about it

Persephone in this book is fleshed out as a complex interesting character. It is sadly rather hard to find stories that show Persephone's complexity and duality.

Many stories and retellings show Persephone as a pure, good-hearted angel but many people forget that Persephone is both Spring and Deathbringer.

On the other hand admittedly I'm not a big fan of soc but I really like the Kaz's actor's performance and he's definitely making things interesting

I'm watching Shadow and Bone and I'm enjoying it in general but

- The relationship between Alina and Mal is really touching but if they really want to keep it real and canon why don't they include all his disgusting misogynistic remarks :>
- The way Aleksander simply asked Alina to call him by his name like that is not a thing. It bothers me a bit because Darkling and Aleksander are differenties identities to him
