I am both loving the main character and hating her... As well as the main guy... But their job is being lawyers and they have to be able to separate their personal lives from that. Knowing lawyers.. I get it. But man does this like really mess with my hate of the miscommunication trope. Because it's not even miscommunication it's the inability to communicate because of legal reasons lol.

But she's just like a normal girl.......and these are demons.....and she is literally not special at all. This feels like twilight. A standard placeholder woman that every female reader can take the place of while they read it. This is why I can't stand when there's an FMC in books anymore. I don't want to put myself in the story. Stop making the main character be like every girl.
