Conner Johnson is finished with To Kill a Mockingbird
The entire book was amazing to me. I was supposed to read a few chapters at a time for English class but instead, I read ahead and finished the whole book. The book's conclusion is perfect to me, even though it leaves some things behind. Boo Radley is revealed to the reader for the first and only time, and actually saves Jem from Mr. Ewell.

I've gotten to the second half of the book now, and it's only gotten more and more interesting. I love all of the characters, and I've finally gotten to the point that the name of the book is actually explained, which is because, "It's bad luck to kill a mockingbird."

So far, I've really enjoyed the book despite its age. I have to read it for my English Class, but like the Great Gatsby, I can pretty quickly see why the book is considered a classic in American Literature.

I haven't read so much in this book since I've had to read and finish The Great Gatsby for English, but the book has now introduced the girl that wears red, which is probably the one and only specific thing that I know from the movie version of this book. I've still really enjoyed this book so far!

Things have escalated very far in this book, as people in the ghettos are being sent to various camps. Schindler has been arrested two times and has only narrowly avoided being persecuted. I have really enjoyed this book though, and I'm really excited to see where it will go.

The book has still been really enjoyable, and I finally figured out what the word enamelware means after wondering for all of the book that I've read so far. The book has now reached the point in the war that ghettos have been established in many major cities, and Jewish people are being forced to move into them.

I haven't made too much more progress in the book since I was gone one day, but this book has still been very interesting to me. I feel like I'll probably have to watch the movie after I finish this book, and I'm pretty excited to see it. The writing style is different compared to what I normally read, and takes longer to get through but I still really enjoy it!

So far, this book has been really good. It's taken a while to get into, but now that I have it, it's very well written, and I'm super interested in its story. I haven't seen the movie that was based on this book, but as a book alone it is very interesting.

Conner Johnson is finished with Child of Dandelions
I finished the book, and I really enjoyed it. It wasn't my favorite, especially the ending which I felt was very anti-climactic. The characters were all very interesting, like Sabine, her family, and Zena, and the story was about a piece of history that I knew very little about. Overall I did enjoy the book.

The book has really escalated, as now Sabine and her family have learned that they too have to flee the country, despite being natural-born citizens of Uganda. This has caused a ton of trouble for her family, as well as **Spoiler** Sabine has learned after hiring a private investigator that her uncle has been confirmed to be dead, instead of just missing. So far, I've really enjoyed this book.

So far, I've really loved the setting and story of this book. It takes place in Uganda in 1972, when the country was going through a major reform due to its new leader. The book has kept my attention really well, and has really captivated me.

So far I've really enjoyed this book. The book takes place in Uganda in 1972, at a time when the current leader of the country has decided to remove all foreign Indians from the country. This has put tons of strain on their family, because they were all born in Uganda but are still facing criticism and discrimination for looking Indian.

On Goodreads, the book shows as being longer than it actually is. I did really enjoy this whole book though, before reading it I hadn't actually ever heard of the Donner Party, or what happened to them. Reading about it through this book was a great experience and I really recommend this book.

So far I've loved absolutely everything about this book. The time it's set in, the characters, and the way it's written. It has this interesting style where the book is like a compilation of thoughts from the different people in the story. The book also gets very sad very quickly, especially at the point that I'm at in the book right now.

The book has so many amazing twists near the end, and I loved being able to see it all finally come together. There were so many different things happening throughout the story at once, and it was very interesting. I also loved getting to know all of the characters so well, and overall it was a very enjoyable book to read.

It has been discovered that Marthalice's (one of Rennie's closest friends) dad has become addicted to morphine, and is abusive, so now Marthalice is living with Rennie's family. One of the Beet workers from the camp, Harry, joined the military but passed away in an accident before he had a chance. Now people are realizing that Daisy (one of the family's workers) has become pregnant and Harry was the father.

So much has happened and I've really gotten into this book. Rennie's brother has gone missing in action and she is still worried about her mom's health. They still haven't figured out who killed Susan, however, the Sheriff has said that he believes he knows who did it, but won't say who.

I finished the book, and I completely understand the reason that it is so highly awarded and known. This documentation of one person's experience during the Holocaust is terrifying, especially knowing that all that happened is completely real. WWII has always been an interesting subject for me, so I absolutely loved this book. It's real, sad, and heartbreaking but an amazing nonfiction book.

So much has happened since the last time I updated this. One of Rennie's friends was found dead, and they blame one of the Japanese camp members for it. Her mom is extremely sick, and her family has hired boys and a girl from the camp to work on the farm and around the house. Rennie has finally gotten to visit her sister in Denver, and has seen how differently Japanese people are treated there compared to Ellis.

I haven't read much further into the book from last week, but an interesting detail that recently happened is that Rennie writes to her sister about how her brother is back and how excited she is to see her again, but her sister only says that she's happy for her, and says nothing about coming back to Ellis (the town). Rennie's dad is actually considering hiring people from the internment camp.

Rennie is happy to be able to spend time with her brother now that he is back temporarily from the war, however things are becoming tenser with the internment camp in their town. A group of Japanese kids that Rennie and her brother meet in the store are attacked on their way back to the camp, and Rennie knows who did it, but can't prove it. The family has arguments about the humanity of the internment camp.

Rennie's brother has come home to visit from the war finally, and she is excited to show her whole family that he has returned. Rennie's father is the only man in the town that is open to the idea of hiring some of the Japanese in the internment camps to help with harvesting on his farm. Lots of the other men in the town don't like him for this, because they see the Japanese as criminals who aren't safe to be around.

I love this book so far. From what I've read so far, I can kind of tell where the story might go, and I'm really excited to see that. I believe that the main character, who is a kid at the time of the events in the story, is going to meet some of the people in the camp that the Japanese have been sent to and realize that they aren't as bad as she has been told.
