Conner Johnson
Conner Johnson is finished
I finished the book, and I really enjoyed it. It wasn't my favorite, especially the ending which I felt was very anti-climactic. The characters were all very interesting, like Sabine, her family, and Zena, and the story was about a piece of history that I knew very little about. Overall I did enjoy the book.

The book has really escalated, as now Sabine and her family have learned that they too have to flee the country, despite being natural-born citizens of Uganda. This has caused a ton of trouble for her family, as well as **Spoiler** Sabine has learned after hiring a private investigator that her uncle has been confirmed to be dead, instead of just missing. So far, I've really enjoyed this book.

So far, I've really loved the setting and story of this book. It takes place in Uganda in 1972, when the country was going through a major reform due to its new leader. The book has kept my attention really well, and has really captivated me.

So far I've really enjoyed this book. The book takes place in Uganda in 1972, at a time when the current leader of the country has decided to remove all foreign Indians from the country. This has put tons of strain on their family, because they were all born in Uganda but are still facing criticism and discrimination for looking Indian.
