Since David McCullough started writing about Wilbur's travels in France I have been much more bored than before, when he wrote more about the aviation aspects of the Wright's life. This part in Paris has been largely about the business between Wibur and French military. I found Wilbur's engrossment in the Louvre and his artistic pleasures interesting, but in my opinion chapter 7 has dragged on.

David McCullough is great at depicted in rising excitement within Dayton and beyond. Now in 1905 the brother's FLYER III can go as high up as 200 feet, and fly up to 11 miles! At first, the progression was tedious but now I feel excited reading about all the people that are excited about the brothers flying machine. I found the writing about a beekeeper, Root to be some of the best so far.

Dan Abnett's writing is good, yet I am not fully encapsulated in Eisenhorn's story. This is the first Black library book I have read. I have read about Warhammer lore in the core book but this is my first first-person book on an inquisitis in M41, so Im still getting used to it.

While reading The Wright brothers I expect to see excerpts of their mindset throughout building the first engine/propeller-powered plane, but when David McCullough talks about their arguments it is disappointing not to hear it in their own words. It would be impossible to do this, and McCullough is still doing a good job bringing the book to life, for the most part, with quotes directly from Catherine or the brothers

Now the brother Orville and Wilbur have been traveling to Kitty Hawk in the Carolinas a few times a year to test their "aeronautic devices." David McCullough is a skilled writer that keeps the story interesting be including quotes and letters to and from the brothers. This brings the book alive and shows he has done great research prior to writing.

This book is getting pretty good. David McCullough is a detailed writer who adds lots of quotes and letters written to and from the Wright brothers. He did a good job introducing their interest in flight and the events leading up to it. Now they have left Ohio for North Carolina to test their first ¨machine.¨

So far I have learned about the Wright brother's early life in Indiana but mostly in Dayton, Ohio. This first chapter pays attention to the bortherś differences and their matching personality that led to them being ¨naturally inseparable.¨

So far I have learned about Chris Kyle age 5-20. I am intrigued by this story and am at chapter 2, "jackhammered" where Chris starts work training to be DOS/s SEAL. So far the book is very interesting, and I see how his early life inspired and set him up to be a sniper in Iraq.

4-6 introduces multiple armies in different places nicely by giving maps demonstrating their movement, using dates constantly, and naming important states. There are a lot of armies (Texas-Florida, Louisiana- Pennsylvania.) To keep track of, but I cant see a better way to organize.

A Great Civil War focuses talks a lot about battles, general tactics, and strategy. The books I have read about the Civil War before were a lot more focused on politics. I'm having a good time reading this, and today, learned more about the battle at Pea Ridge, Union General Curtis, and Confederate General Dorn. I have learned more about the importance of the Mississippi campaigns and Trans-Mississippi Theatre.

Now that I am nearing the end of Mastering Modern United States History, I can see it is concluding the 20th century. This book has been a good overview because it has steered away from being too brief. It goes into many important policies and events (it's obvious the author is interested in presidential scandals.)

I find learning about presidents and their historical significance cool, I have learned in detail about a few presidents in the 1900s but this book is a good overview of modern United States history and its author seems knowledgable and well written.

Now the Authors are associating finite groups with polynomials with imaginary numbers. This part of the book is making good sense and I appreciate the review on dividing polynomials. I'm looking forward to the authors bringing back prime numbers and the relation between polynomials and number theory. It should be cool.

I've been reading this for a few weeks and am going slowly because of all the examples. Today I read about the permutations of finite groups and I found it easier than the last chapter on logic in a mathematical argument. Im getting used to all the greek notation in arrays used in finite groups but reading is going fine.
