So good!

I really like this far!

This book is reminding me why I love reading and why I should stop focusing on overhyped books. If you are wanting something like The Hunger Games with a dash of Divine Rivals you will love this. I can’t put it down.

Impressed with how this still feels like Manacled and yet original at the same time. SenLinYu did a really good job of reworking the work and magic system.

I am bored. This feels very long-winded and nothing is happening. Too much history and a weird meeting while the main characters are 12 and already attracted to each other. First disappointing Rebecca Ross book.

This going to be my Kindle read while I am out and about. I don’t mind if it’s stereotypical romantasy for exactly this reason.

Really enjoying this. I don’t know why this isn’t a TikTok trending book. Probably because it has no smut, but still!

I am really enjoying this so far. I just wish the author wasn’t so heavy-handed with gender identity and pronouns. These things can just exist in books without them being explained at multiple points in the story. And if it is part of the premise, it can still be there without the reader feeling like they are being preached to.

This is already really enjoyable and just what I need to break out of the TikTok trope train.

Whittling down the backlist tbr this year

Well this book is a journey so far.

This is a lot of fun! Comfy in its familiar YA vibes.

This is a lot of fun so far! I am surprised the ratings are so low my only guess that those people reviewing it poorly aren’t able to relate to the female MC and the geeky references?

This is fun! I am not expecting anything groundbreaking but it keeping me hooked and the sexy stuff is not super detailed which is fine by me.

Kinda generic but fun to read. This makes me think of YA in the mid-2000’s where things like Meg Cabot’s Teen Idol were really popular.

I really like this so far. I am just sad to see the rest of the series is a bit of dumpster fire so I will probably just stick with this one and be done with it.

Rereading this and enjoying it a lot more. This is my year of finishing series!

Also this totally was inspired by Dragon Age. I agree fully with a friend of mine’s assessment!
