Men have this sense of power and persuasion, and she had almost forgotten her morals to appease him. I think changing the words and choosing different adjectives could've changed the entire narrative and we wouldn't have seen inside Halleys mind.

Today i read the events that took place after Scarlett made the decision to keep her child. The school overheard them talking about the baby, so obviously now there's rumors going around. I'm interested to see if she ends up putting the child up for adoption like her mom wants her to

I just found out Scarlett is pregnant and the father is the boy that died. She is keeping the child, which in a way I almost understand. Michael, the father, obviously passed away and she wants to keep a part of him and knows he wouldn't want her to abort the child

I'm currently reading about how much worse her illness is getting, and I'm anxious to find out what it is. Her actions have been so interesting and the way her mind is processing things

I think the protagonist could most relate to the author Rudy Francisco who wrote the poem When People Ask Me How I'm Doing. The progtagonists friend just died, her best friends boyfriend. She's trying to show no emotion and hide behind a mask instead of showing her feelings

The word I chose is deranged. I think that's the most interesting word I read today. "You look deranged," Oliver said to Emmy, and although this is a word I knew beforehand, it stuck out to me as I don't think I've ever actually heard someone state it to someone else

I think the lesson I'm learning is you cannot change the past. People tend to get stuck in the past or can't move on from major things that have happened, but the world doesn't stop spinning for anyone. When your world seems to come to a stop, everyone else's keeps moving. You can't change what has happened to you, but you can change how you process it and let it affect you.

I imagine Emmy spending the holidays home, with Oliver and his family over also. Since they're neighbors and Oliver's mom and Emmy's parents have been friends for a long time, they'd definitely be spending the holidays together. They live by the ocean, so they'd definitely go surfing together without telling their parents.

I'm intrigued to see right now when she gets diagnosed, and how much worse things are going to get for her before she goes and sees a neurologist and figured out what's wrong

Oliver and Emmy finally kissed at a party. I can't see where the climax of this story is, or what's going to happen between them/what major event is coming, but i'm eager to find out

it's good, i'm interested to see their relationship start happening. Oliver is doing a lot of interviews since getting home, but i can definitely tell something's going to happen between him and Emmy.

Her mental illness is deepening, and she's going in and out of some of her first manic episodes. Towards the end of my reading she has a seizure, and even when waking up in the hospital she's shouting, wanting to leave, and still freaking out.

I obviously haven't read much of this book, but the story right now is her childhood best friend was kidnapped, and returned 10 years later. I'm thinking a theme would be something about hopefulness or cruelty in the world while remaining positive. I'm interested to see what happens when they reunite.

I'm liking this book so far. Each chapter is another sign/symptom of the illness she's going to become diagnosed with, but she keeps playing everything off. I'm finding it interesting and i wonder what mental illness she is struggling with.

I just started this book, and it's really good. the tone of the main character carlos is hard to make out, and i'm intrigued to understand him more. same thing with the other point of view Kiara, i want to understand her more also

They found Roza and brought her home. It was genuinely hard for me to comprehend when Finn was finding her and saving her, but almost brought me to tears when Sean and her were reunited again

I read a new point of view in the book, Charlie Valentines; the neighbor. As i finish each chapter, it's almost as if perspectives and narrators are switching more frequently as we near the end of the book. I'm really anticipating finding out if Roza comes home, and Finn and Petey get back together.

i don't understand why she would think i didn't love her. what even is face blindness? why didn't she even look into that? i don't understand how she can think i think she's ugly because of this disease she thinks i have. there's so much thinking, i really love her. i didn't mean to hurt her i swear. i miss her.

Finn and Sean just got Roza some cleaner clothes, and she's been gardening. I picture her in some sort of sweater and jeans, given that the boys gave her there clothes, and definitely barefoot because she loves the outside so much, jeans slightly grass stained

I think Finn was feeling a lot of fear. He's in the hospital, seeing the man that took Roza, might be dreaming. To portray this emotion on stage, having the eyes squinting because he was in the hospital and couldn't open them, but widening them when seeing the man. Shortening breathing, eyes darting around widely

there would need to be a lot of rearranging throughout the play. If the scene was at Finn's house, i'd want it to be a regular farm house. With oak trim and furniture, old couches, lots of bookshelves and pictures hung and photo books on shelves from when their mother was still around. A messy room for Finn with a quilt sheet and pictures of animals, a messy desk

I think a theme that has developed is trust in love and friendship. Finn was not believed when he said he saw the man that kidnapped Roza. Roza doesn't believe that Sean and Finn want her back, amongst other things. The theme shows that we should trust each other and support our friends and the people we love

Finns main conflict in this story is the mental battle he's having with figuring out everything with Roza, his brother, and new girlfriend. He feels as if he hasn't done enough to find Roza, and in today's reading the person that kidnapped her had showed up and spoken to Finn. He's trying to reach out for help but no one's believing him. He's also trying to forget her and focus on his brother and girlfriend.

I think Gavin Casalegno would be perfect for Finn. He's an actor that shows a lot of emotion, and none depending on the part which I think is perfect for Finn

The horse that showed up in Finns barn. This horse always seems to know where to go and what to do, and I think there's a much deeper meaning for why he ended up there. Finn thinks someone brought the mare because they couldn't take care of it, but I think that's not the case

"Despite the fire and the half-moon overhead, she snatched up a flashlight long enough to double as a club and jogged towards the house." Finn went to 'Peteys' house in the middle of the night, and was with her at the fire

I believe the narrator is reliable coming from Finn. I like his perspective in first person because it's giving me a lot more emotion from him which i think his point of view needs so that we can understand why findin Roza is so important. I don't think Rosa's narrator is reliable, because she was abducted, and i think from a different point of view we'd get more information with what happened to her

In todays reading i got to read the perspective of Roza for the first time, and then back to Finn. Finn is telling the story, and Roza also told her story. The book is in first person, but the perspectives switching was unexpected. I predict that it might switch to Finn's brother's perspective at one point as well, but it's been interesting to see both points of view.

The main character from the first half of the reading was Finn. Finn is an easily manipulated man, but also super opinionated. At some times he was demanding, but the Rude brothers "jumped" him at one point, and he didn't advocate for himself. He didn't stand up for himself and when his brother was going to call and yell at the Rude brothers, Finn didn't want that to happen. He's a very loving person

obviously i'm at the beginning of the book so i don't know a lot yet and don't know how to feel about it. but so far im really finding the word choices intriguing and engaging. At some points already within the first couple of pages I have already got confused, but the way it's starting and the plot so far has intrigued me and i think it'll be good.
