My commuting audiobook. A similar vibe to my beloved OUABH, but not even remotely as endearing or engaging. It’s adequate and I expect I’ll finish it. The MMC is 10000% on the spectrum and asexual.

For the first 20% I really thought I was reading an Achilles + Patroclus relationship, but tragically I fear these boys are hetero and boring. I don’t think I can continue at this point. Devastating.

If anyone’s curious, this practically word-for-word The Auction. Not necessarily complaining, but I find it funny that the author made NO mention of her fanfic history at her B&N release event in NYC, and made it sound like this was a brand new, recent writing project.
