It is what you expect from Buehlman so far. Detailed and expansive world building, character building is fantastic so far. Excited to see where it goes.

I didn’t really have any expectations going into this but so far it’s been a fun read. If you’re a fan of TTRPGs or RPG video games this is the book for you so far.

The book is great so far! This is the second book I’ve read by Buehlman, I finished Between Two Fires last week. Usually when I read fist person perspectives it feels more like I’m imagining a video game in my head, though with this book I feel like I’m actually reading the Protagonists inner monologue on his journey thus far. So far, no complaints.

Just started, but so far it’s a really good break down of how our current society is being held hostage. So far I recommend this book.
