it’s actually really interesting how Greta, despite knowing Flavia’s real name, keeps calling her big swiss. Although it is a nickname she’s been using to address Flavia, considering their relationship I find it’s likely a protective mechanism from Greta’s side, almost as if by not using Flavia’s real name she can remain a concept to lust after rather than a real person to whom she has relationship with.

sometimes books include chilling details that are so similar to the real life experience that it leaves me speechless. Greta describing her passive suicidal tendencies as “a goal like any other”, the admission of never planning on learning life skills - since suicide remained the goal - and above all, how suicidal tendencies come to her “calmly and out of the blue”, are incredibly realistic details.
