This is going to be an unforgettable read for me, I can already tell.

I'm trying to give this a fair shot but the author's insistence on mentioning brands, wealth and status (and not under a critical lens) is confirming my fear that I can't empathize with rich people, and it's all their fault.

There's something about the humor in this book. It's a little too ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°), too Seinfield fan, too "That's What She Said, too "How You Doing?: (the guy from Friends, not Wendy Williams), too "Congratulations, you're stupid in three languages", too Totes McGoats, too... I don't know how to explain it.

She stole money to buy a Kindle and now I am rooting for her.

The way my very forgotten mormon side made me feel concerned when David shared his patriarchal blessing.

Unsurprisingly, this is pretty amazing.

So this is/was funny but I'm bored now. I don't care what happens to the characters.

One thing I love about Murakami is how he describes Japan in his books. He makes everything sound so interesting, especially the nightlife and the food.

I am personally offended that Bath & Body Works candles are being represented as the bottom of the barrel when Marshall and Walmart candles exist. There's levels to poverty & tackiness ok sweaty

Why do famous people pronounce Ibiza as Eye-beefa? If you're going to use the spanish Z, use the spanish I as well. Eebeefa.

Less than 20% into this book and it already did a better job than Blue Sisters at exploring sisterhood.

The dialogues in this book remind me of that iconic Julia Fox interview that goes:

- Is that you? Or did you have a make up artist do it?
- I actually did it myself
- Ohh
- Yeah
- Nice
- Yeah

In my defense, I, a gay man, love Cruel Intentions for entirely different reasons straight men do.
