I have a feeling this is about to be a crazy twist

you showed me all of the things i never deserved. and now i can search for the things i do.

i met someone who makes me question why i ever loved you

and i hug her every day

because he will look for parts of you in everyone he meets but he will never be able to find you

i’ve finally forgiven myself for the addiction

the weight of needing someone disappeared the moment i realized i am enough

what a disaster it was to love you

but now i stare at the pictures of myself with you in them and beg for myself back

sometimes we think we are unloveable but we are really just asking the wrong people to love us

try again tomorrow.

what if it doesn’t get better? but what if it does?

stop making yourself small just so you’re easier for him to swallow
let. him. choke

you are not the spoiled fruit he made you think you were

the right person will see you deserve better and choose to be better

but now i’m afraid of finding someone who is everything like you
