This is such a beautifully written book! The way the author writes is like a poetic flow.

Things are turning!! I didn’t see this coming in part 2… idk what to believe because I’m so suspicious 🤨 lol I’m not sure who’s POV to trust!

I’m so annoyed by Millie for sticking around such a hostile work environment. Yes, I understand her situation but she’s not even trying to break away from it. Furthermore, I just know (just like she knows) this crush on her boss husband is inevitably going to end bad! *ay yi yi!!*

Loving how fast pace the story is moving along but I also notice a lack of character development. I feel like I don’t really know the narrator although everything is from her POV.

I’m already locked in. Meddy’s POV is so intriguing as she is quiet but strong. I like seeing her sisters through her eyes. I love the understanding and support they share. I can tell a storm is brewing through.

Honestly… the FMC personality is very off putting to me. It’s definitely how the author has written her. I’m hoping I develop a fondness for her as I read on but she has a very high guard, understandably however as a reader I need to feel connected in someway otherwise I might divest in her story.
