Much better. Things are already happening. I’m learning characters’ histories and connections as the main plot unfolds.

I can’t give this to page 100. I’m nearly 50 pages in and still nothing has happened - we’re just introducing everyone. My first ever DNF book.

Maybe I’ll come back to this later. But right now, I just can’t get into it.

I’m giving this book until page 100 (out of 718!). There are just too many characters and story lines being introduced right away. Nothing has actually happened yet. I feel like I’ve been reading for hours and I’m only at six percent. Nothing is happening yet that makes me want to keep reading. I’m on page 47… we’ll see but I don’t think the “marathon reader” badge is worth this torture.

I’ve read for at least an hour now and I’m only 3% into the book …….. this “Marathon Reader” challenge better be worth it. I do like the concept of the story though - it reminds me a bit of Moana.

The “Dear Debbie” draft files are something … 😳

So far, so good! There are multiple cases happening at once and I’m anxious to see how they all connect. I have a suspicion already, but it feels too easy….

This is one of those books that could be told in half the time. Which stinks because I enjoy the concept and the plot. But now I’m just rushing to get to the end and not fully enjoying it.
