Inching my way to the fourth bucket.

I was at work when I (subconsciously) read "Acrobatic Dance Lesson" as "Alcoholic Dance Lesson." Too much beer literature, A.A. Tipsy, indeed.

Since they say that this is an endless quest, I'm reading this again.

By far, the exchange of insults between Gloucester and Queen Margaret is my favorite.

I'm getting the most out of it.

Oh, I'm loving this historical novel. Especially with mentions of Filipinos defeating Chinese rebels!

I'm loving the wide vocabulary of the author! It's so Victorian! Sweet!

I love the contemporary pieces.

Chapter I is devastating... because it's real.

This book is full of sweet words. Dudman is a chemist but she knows how to romanticize things. Like ice, clouds and silence. Great!

The Preface alone is so engaging. I never thought that talking about ice can be so dramatic and thought-provoking.

I've just finished the U-od and Jennifer stories. I don't like the stories but sure they offer a lesson about Filipinos.

I've just finished reading the title story, The Paraplegics. Edilberto Tiempo really knows how to effectively employ romantic language to drive a story and drive the reader.
