This is the second time I'm reading this book, which seems to be smoother this time around. I still didn't get into it until chapter four, but we shall see...

They're healing and it's wonderful! The poetic hidden meanings are beautiful. And gender truly is only a "concept," a "myth," if you will.

The beautiful and poetic symbolism is EVERYTHING!

Once chapter 15 came along, I haven't been able to put this book down.

Unfortunately, it has taken me too long to finish reading this. I'm starting to enjoy the book, but I really want to love it.

I'm finally back in the mood to read this again. I love the story and how it's written, but for whatever reason, I'm having a hard time finishing it right away.

I'm a mood reader, so it's hard for me to get into some stories at times. It took me four times of reading the first three pages to get into this. This time, I've made it to page 15 without any issues. I'm definitely on Beni's side and hope she can rescue the books from Mr. Woodiker, who would see to it that the fictional books are burned.
