Started this only to realise it's also centred around ice-hockey and after 21 hours of The Winners I feel like I need a break from that. Will shelve and try another time.

Could kill him because he's stopped using full stops halfway through but enjoying the story so much so will soldier on!

Listened to almost half of it - 7 hours left of the audiobook and I just don't care about the characters... DNF

200 pages in and I'm giving up. Just can't seem to care enough about these characters even though I REALLY wanted to. And now with a new one just being introduced, I don't have the energy to keep going. Pity.

Hmm....got bored. DNF.

Never really been a fan of short stories but gave it a go because I've enjoyed her writing and love Aoife McMahon as a narrator but this audiobook is frustrating me so going to give it a skip.

Have listened to 9 hours so far and as much as I like poor little Demon, I don't think I have the strength to listen to what else happens to him after what's been going on in the world this week. Too much sadness. May pick this up again at another time.

Have to abandon this one unfortunately. Can't concentrate with the lack of proper punctuation. Will try the audiobook rather.

DNF. I was really excited to listen to this one. Narrated by the man himself, with bits of their music thrown in here and there, I thought it would be a great listen but 2 hours in and I can't bear it any longer. He sounds like a parent reading a fairy tale to a child! So weird. He kind of grumbles in the back of his throat and then whispers in sections too. Drove me mad. What a pity.

I love Julia Whelan as a narrator but may have binged just one too many of hers as I listened to 2 hours of this but when I saw there were still 7 hours left I couldn't bear the thought of finishing it.

Don't judge me - I'm a sucker for a memoir read by the author and she fascinates me after someone told me to watch her documentary on YouTube.

I thought I'd love listening to this as he narrates it but he just seems so completely heartbroken that I don't think I'm in the right headspace to listen to this one at the moment. May try pick it up again sometime.

Loving it from the word go!

Really battling...not sure I want to keep going...feel like I'm in a Tom Cruise action movie. Exhausted from all these cliff-hangers. Is this what it's like for the rest of the 600 pages?

Shewie, battling with the way the main character speaks! Will try to soldier on as I loved all his other books.

So much self-adoration...I'm not sure if I can stand it. I'm not really interested in hearing what all his clients say about him. Will try a bit more and see.
