Really battling...not sure I want to keep going...feel like I'm in a Tom Cruise action movie. Exhausted from all these cliff-hangers. Is this what it's like for the rest of the 600 pages?

It's a brilliant story, the cliff hangers are kind of what makes it, but as I told you, if it doesn't grab you after 50 pages, put it down and movement on. You have tried, well done, no point trying again xx

I pushed through to 250 pages due to the fact that it was a gift from a dear friend and also because you loved it but when I realised I was dreading picking it up, I decided to throw in the towel. I read an article that 2022 is being described as "The Year Of Exhaustion" and I think maybe my mind just can't handle all the drama that this book has right now? Maybe I'll pick it up again one day when I'm in a different space.
