I forgot how irritating this writing is. I don't understand the conclusions any of the characters are drawing right now. And just like how the text feels like no one edited it (I am an editor. This screams "author makes enough money to win arguments with their editor even if they are wrong"), the audiobook mispronounced "propitious." Did no one review the audiobook either? UGH

Okay it is actually difficult to work while I listen to this, my mouth keeps falling open... and f*** Heathcliff, truly. He spent all my pity, this SUCKS

Also little Cathy is far from perfect, but I truly admire her courage. She is very brave for a young girl. All of these people are just babies...

I am incredibly distressed, this book is going to give me a migraine. And being persuaded to love some awful people has me feeling like one of the characters... Emily Bronte was a genius.

Also how was it that not absolutely everyone was dying of tuberculosis? Why were some people so resistant to it?

I just have to say, the narrator pronounced the title with a w so I'm in love (shout out to the grad student who taught my latin crash course, you were the coolest)
