honestly i'm spending more time trying to understand the writing than anything. not entirely sure how i feel how about this, but it's interesting enough to keep my attention for now. also, "he was dark of hair" instead of just "he had dark hair"? :/ me vs other ppl's writing choices, round infinity

the sweet domestic interlude is pot fish chili's way of coaxing readers before ripping them apart with the final game

i'm getting to the point in the book where i have to decide if i want to make some terrible decisions and stay up to finish this 🙈
