If I’m being honest I have grown on a couple other characters. I still love Beatrice and Connor, but I also like Jefferson now and kinda Samantha. They are all being annoying though and I know the book is gonna end on a flipping cliffhanger 💀 OBSESSED with the concept of the book though

I hate every character except Beatrice and Connor tbh. Genuinely my worst fear is for me and my sister to distance, which is what is happening in this book and it’s scaring me bro. I’m gonna finish it though because I need to see how Beatrice’s ascension to the throne works out in the end

The examples in this book are so heartbreaking, but they correlate so well with the syndrome. She is covering things so many young women will try to cover up/attempt to validate, following it with the fact that in some way it always haunts the person. As a firm believer in God, I know that I achieve my confidence through him, but this book is revealing the realistic struggles of those that reach to other outlets.

the switching povs make it a little difficult to keep up with but each one is so interesting!!!! I am so nervous to find out what is going on with those Van Laar kids
