Well that was an interesting twist. What a weird woman she is.

What a complex woman this main character is. She’s obviously unwell but I also feel pity for her at the same time. Bleak and weird is what this book is but I’m quite enjoying it despite the absolutely insane subject matter.

This is all becoming very unfair and really strengthens my resolve the puritans of this time period were literally bat shit insane. No wonder the US is bonkers when it’s built from absolute whack jobs.

Had to frigging put this down because it was so predictable. German speaking attack Dobermans? An escape off the roof into the skylight of a caravan with two dead bodies inside? The psychopathic raping antagonist is also a cop? Get out of my FACE.
