I'm embarrassed to say that I'm only returning to this series with a morbid curiosity on how it's going to end. And oh boy, I wish this was so-bad-it's-enjoyable but it's actually still just so-boring-it-cures-my-insomnia. I'm contemplating DNFing...or else I really am a masochist

This sentiment resonates so much with me right now after two surgeries this year and trying to be so chill with the nurses and doctors during my recovery.

Love isn't something you can cup in your hands, and I have to believe that means it's something that can't ever be lost.

I'm 100 pages in and I couldn't tell you what the underlying plot of this book is....but I can tell you that nearly everyone is extremely attractive 🤦‍♀️

This would have been a good comic strip. I'm still trying to suspend judgement but it's hard. It needs some serious editing

I'm doing my very best to think of this as a lighthearted, fun read but I'm struggling.... I can't stand when the two main characters are pining in the first few pages and it's abundantly obvious to everyone around them. It's too on the nose. I'm also really sad after the characters first met, we skipped 5 months and missed the initial start to their working relationship.

Boy I hope this book gets good fast because so far I don't understand the hype. Like you really can't convince me that these two "infamous" serial killers are giving each other their full names after their first meeting and yet the FBI has no leads on their identities. Suuuuure

Just this once, I would like to see the fat awkward teen not grow up to show off her toned, thin revenge body. How nice would it be if maybe her former mean friends would be surprised with her success, confidence in her skin, as a grown up fat woman. But no, strike one for our first cliche.

Docking a star already for the fake blog/entertainment article between each chapter of the book. They're so cringe and unnecessary. Not every book about Hollywood celebs needs this trope.
