I'm doing my very best to think of this as a lighthearted, fun read but I'm struggling.... I can't stand when the two main characters are pining in the first few pages and it's abundantly obvious to everyone around them. It's too on the nose. I'm also really sad after the characters first met, we skipped 5 months and missed the initial start to their working relationship.
