I’m glad I didn’t DNF this

I think I’m struggling with this because it’s an adult book but the main character is 16. I still don’t like the writing style. I want to DNF but I’ve heard so many amazing things about this series!

I was told this gets good at page 104 so I’m gonna keep going but I don’t like the writing style. Also footnotes should not take up multiple pages, I don’t care about some niche lore in your made up world when I’m 50 pages in

This is hard to get back into… I seem to have forgotten every character name and all the details of book one lol

I can’t decide if I am enjoying this or just that some of the scenes are so shocking that I keep reading. Idk if that makes sense

I’m gonna try and give this 100 pages before I DNF because this sounds like a book I would like but currently not liking this

The last 100 pages have just been the characters talking and hanging out and I’m losing interest. I need to plot to come back lol

I’m not obsessed but it’s fun

This is very character driven and it talks a lot about sports… hopefully the plot picks up cause I’m bored

I don’t think I like this but I bought a special edition cause I loved the previous series by this author… so I guess I’m going to keep reading

There is a lot of history and lots of characters in the first chapter. It is a bit overwhelming
