VISUALIZE: This book has lots of different ways of making people visualize things. One of the things that I felt while I was reading is that I felt very tense. This book has lots of suspense which is good because it makes you want to read more of the book. Another thing was that this book is very good at visualization. Meaning that the book was written in a way so you could easily visualize the writing in the book.

MAKING PREDICTIONS: There are many predictions that I can make about my book. One of my predictions that I'm going to make is that Avery is going to find out why she was the one who was given the money that she inherited from the Mr. Hawthorne. I also think that it is some type of puzzle or game that Mr. Hawthorne created and he didn't just roll the dice and see how he was going to inherit his money to.

MAKING TEXT CONNECTIONS: One of the connections I made in the text was a text to world connection. The connection I made was when Avery inherited billions of dollars, I made a connection with when Jeffrey Bezos' wife stole half of his fortune and just walked away. It could also be related to when someone inherited lots of money without doing anything.

SUPPORTING CHARACTERS: There are lots of different supporting characters in my book. One of the Supporting characters is Max. Max is the main character's, Avery Grambs, best friend. She usually talks to Max about her life and is one of her long time friends that moved away. Another one of the supporting characters is Libby, who is her older sister and who is the closest person to her.

TYPES OF CONFLICT: There are multiple different types of conflict in this story. One of the types of conflict is character vs. nature. This is because he is trying to kill a deer for his grandfather but he is getting some inner conflict. The other form of conflict in this book is character vs. self. John is getting at himself for trying to kill the deer because he feels it is the last bit of his grandfather left.

CLIMAX: The predicted climax in my book is about who stole and who is trying to frame Theodore for theft. Currently in the book they have some suspects and are trying to find out who is the one who actually did the crime. The climax in the book could go two different ways. One of them is a big surprise and it was someone they didn't think it would be or it could be a big realization moment of the person that did it.

Along the way he learns lots of important skills and other ways he can help save himself from going to Jail.

Supporting Characters: One of the supporting characters in my book is Ike, Theodore's Uncle. He plays the supporting role by helping him with many problems he has in life and can help give him the inside scoop on rumors. He also isn't the best influence because he is an ex-criminal himself. He is so close to him that he tells him stuff he doesn't tell his own parents. Ike is playing the supporting role in this book.

Visualize-When I read an old book or a book that has been used and is somewhat tattered I can feel and smell how good the book is. When you feel the rough page then you can feel how much love went into the book and how the people who read it liked it. The part in my book where he was riding his bike fast through a neighborhood the author used lots of adjectives and descriptions of things that I could see it well.

CONNECTIONS-When I first came to this school I felt sort of disconnected from everyone else. Just like the main character in the book when he moved to Torrance. The city and everyone there didn't like how some Italian people were just coming in to stay with them so they tried to kick them out of the city. But the city didn't do it which is what the school did by making it easy to find super good friends.

CHARACTERIZATION: On page 281 it says, "The post war nightmares caused my life to crumble, but thanks to a confrontation with God... Love replaced the hate I had from you." This shows the character trait of forgiveness. Evan though Louie was beat and tortured by the Bird he still feels remorse for him even though he didn't have to. This shows that Louie has lots of willpower to not hurt the Bird but forgive him.

The main antagonist in my book is the Japanese. When Louie got captured he wasn't treated a POW (prisoner of war) like he should have been, but more like a slave. The Japanese wanted more natural resources for their navy, army, and air force. In turn they started a war and took over lots of the Pacific. He also had other antagonists like his opponents in the Olympics.

Unbroken is a nonfiction biography about a Olympian World War 2 airman who gets stranded out in the Pacific Ocean after crashing. I know that this is a biography because it is about Louie Zamperini but is written by Laura Hillenbrand. I also know that it is a biography because it has pictures Louie's life and some pictures of his comrades as well.

PROTAGONIST-Akria is one of the main protagonists in my story. She is a shy person who likes to work in quiet areas. She doesn't like to argue and will try to avoid doing so even if she doesn't want to. She has to escape one of California's wildfires and doing so makes her more able to speak out about what she thinks. Her dad doesn't believe in climate change and so she started to now speak out about climate change.

Another story is about Owen and George who get stuck in the Arctic and trying to get home while a polar stalks and attacks them. The last story is about Natalie who is stuck in Miami and trying to survive a huge hurricane.

One of my Predictions is about how Owen and George lose their snowmobile. My story has 3 different stories about people surviving natural disasters. This story was about them escaping polar bears and the icy tundra. One of the other stories is about people escaping a wildfire and they lose their car in a crash. So I predicted that they would lose the snowmobile like how the others lost their vehicle to the wildfire.

CONFLICT: The conflict in my story is Character vs Nature. It is about a character and someone she just met having to escape the California wildfires. They have to escape the flames, debris, hail and other people. They have to find their way back home through the Morris fire while trying to find their parents and helping someone with a hurt arm and foot. In conclusion, the conflict in my book is Character vs Nature.

My story is told with first person limited. I is being told by the person who wrote the book. He is recalling his life from when he was fighting in the pacific in WWll. I know this because sometimes he will talk directly to the reader about what is happening in the story. He also know all of his feelings and thoughts in the story.

The setting of the story is the islands of the Pacific ocean during WWll. It will cover the islands were he fights to take from the Japanese. For example, one of the islands that he has to take is Iwo Jima and Guam. The starting setting of the book is in America where he was in a boarding school that tried to teach him to forget about his old language. Then he joined the marines and became a Navajo code talker.
