My sister gave it to me for Christmas. She know that I enjoy reading Historical Fiction books. It is a WWll book and she thought I would like it.

My story is told with first person limited. I is being told by the person who wrote the book. He is recalling his life from when he was fighting in the pacific in WWll. I know this because sometimes he will talk directly to the reader about what is happening in the story. He also know all of his feelings and thoughts in the story.

The setting of the story is the islands of the Pacific ocean during WWll. It will cover the islands were he fights to take from the Japanese. For example, one of the islands that he has to take is Iwo Jima and Guam. The starting setting of the book is in America where he was in a boarding school that tried to teach him to forget about his old language. Then he joined the marines and became a Navajo code talker.
