Sin no longer owns us, its power has been broken, its penalty has been broken BUT we are going to be dogged by it’s presence until the next life BUT that does not mean we sit back in defeat, we can put off and put on, it’s only in the Spirit that we can leading into the Lord in utter dependence; God cares so much for my eternal happiness that He will sacrifice our earthly happiness if necessary to ensure it
