Hmm, so far, I find Sybil to be a little bit of a pain. Extremely particular and writes with an air of condescension that bleeds into all her interactions. Like when she made assumptions about the poor contact centre guy based on his ethnicity! Anyway, I’ll give the lady a chance, hopefully her character develops as it’s much needed

Surprise! Yet another book about a complicated Asian upbringing makes me cry…

115 pages so far about how disgusted she is by food

I without a doubt believe the victims of Epstein and I believe them when they recount the atrocities they have experienced. This book further corroborates what I have read online in relation to the Epstein files, down to the very concept of a baby farm at the Zorro ranch and Epstein’s twisted thinking behind that. It’s heavy content, sometimes I’m needing to pause.

Fully in tears (no less at 1am…) at the way it describes a mother’s enduring love for their child, which isn’t even the focus, but it’s a point I’m picking up on. I’m not sure why this book is taking me so long to get through, I might be avoiding it because the mum reminds me of my mum and it’s clearly striking a chord with me
