Okay so I have picked this up instead of HERC, and I am loving it so much more. Easy read so far and it is enjoyable - we had a quiet 2 hours at work so I was able to read this and relax. I’m up to the trial, I think it was the son - I also think the son was at the dinner table and was the one to attack the Betsy

It’s ok. It’s strong in a hand full of areas but feels poorly written or more so aimed at quite a young audience

Oh so we’re getting the bride of Frankenstein?! I didn’t know that was canon

I’m loving Frankenstein’s monologue a lot

Plane reads
Frankenstein’s monologue, so far, is so so compelling. Justine’s death was absolutely awful and I cried on the plane

I love when I read a book that heavily incorporates science, maths and study, and despite my being bad at all three I get a crazy urge to want to be a chemist of some form

Decided to give this another go

Reminding me a lot, so far, of Ethics 101 by Boone

I kinda feel like I’m also on this walk

I love when you start reading a book and it’s written really well from the first page
