I’ve never wanted to live in Paris, but I’m currently envious of Sarah’s opportunity to do just that. Travelling in the early 2000s was a completely different lifestyle to today’s travel. I’m enjoying reminiscing about that time in Europe.

I realise it was written almost 20 years ago, but the shenanigans in this book are insane.

I’m still trying to get my head around which sister is which, but enjoying getting to know the characters & the idea of triplet sisters complicated relationships.

Had to get the pencil out! So many sentences have aha moments. It’s like being told the secrets of the universe. You understand, but then it disappears from your knowing. Enjoying this book. I’ll be reviewing post reading.

When I grow up I wanna be Rob! Aimee’s trusty sidekick & BFF is the coolest, funniest person I know.

Can’t help but laugh along with this book. So far it’s a clever commentary on the reality of the impact of Hollywood meets Byron. Celebrity meets local & how reality in skewed by ‘reality’ tv.

Hearing this story through the Authors own voice makes the experience of attempting to understand Sociopathy more insightful & accessible.

I have had to start underlining because so much of what this book talks about is an a-ha moment. Being a person with To Do Lists of To Do lists (not kidding), most of which are scribbled in rather expensive notebooks to help keep me organized, I can identify with the authors theories.

Humorous & adventurous, as well as educational.

Every line is filled with gold. I can recognise I too am a Productivity geek & slave of mastering time.

The pressure is mounting on Inga from all sides. Dreams are being squashed at an alarming rate. I’m feeling completely overwhelmed for her and wondering how she found the perseverance to continue overcoming compounding challenges. I’m curious how this turns out…

The determination and ingenuity of creating a writer’s retreat & competing with the big guns in this space is truly admirable.

Quick start picking up with exactly where It Ends with us left us. Straight into the mindset of Atlas & Lily after their declaration of feelings on the unexpected sidewalk meeting.

Hannah has finally moved out of Riverton & taking Grace with her on her adventurous new life.

Poetically described I can picture Riverton Manor in my mind. I can envision Grace as a young maid, in a different era - discovering life.
Admittedly I’m starting to feel like I want some explanations, 250 pages in and I’m not sure what’s happening with the characters to progress the story, back to the starting point. Hopefully some of the puzzle pieces are revealed soon.

Loving the detailed description, the complexity of the characters. The weaving in of old and new concepts. The mystery of Resignation syndrome, the psychology behind sleep and murder.

There’s some great motivational nuggets in amongst the humour. When I need a rest, I sit & read a chapter or two & give myself a bit of a kick to restart my batteries.

It’s my 3rd time reading this, I did the Konmari method in 2014 & spent 5 years decluttering & downsizing. After moving home another 4 times in the last 5 years, I need a tidying boost again!

The risks taken to chase a dream are commendable. It’s interesting to see the focus on environment, and protection of it, whilst simultaneously not realising that her own actions could be considered impactful by others. The observations of trees is astounding, beautiful, poetic - but the danger of them not fully understood.

Enjoying the suspense. Not knowing what happened to cause the situation. The strong visuals of black & white noir movies, mixed with modern day drama. The apparent blurriness & confusion of reality and imagined. The dry wittiness of the Dr Anna Fox.
