Apollyon Male faes can scent when a female fae is pregnant. Pregnancy only happens for female faes during a fertility year. It’s currently not one.

Malakai got a glimpse of what Kongamato training is like for Kadeesha and Zahzah while also receiving a bruise from them.

Before Sylas unpredictable death at the hands of King Rishaud, King Sylas signed an oath stating that Hyperion King would takeover Aesther Court if the marriage between Kadeesha and Rishaud did not occur. This oath was unbeknownst to Kadeesha.

Malakai is challenge as king against his cousin Cassius. Cassius demands to be crowned King so that he can be a peace oath with Hyperion King Rishaud. Cassius would rather have Rishaud look away from Apollyon Court than to war.
