Underrated somehow.

Love it.

I needed this to get out of a slump. My apple pencil died on my flight to California and I needed something to do. This, oh my god, it's not as good so far as Everything and the Moon, but it feels familiar to it.

Cute, but obviously written when gender relations were much different. I also hold that the author writes and has the characters speak in a 1950s dialect, which to me sort of warps the perception of the 1972 teenage girl. Now I can also admit that I am not a teenage girl in 1972, so I don't know if this is how teens spoke in the 70s and my idea that most were hippies or spoke in watered down hippie adjacent ways.

My mother was reading this on the flight back from Paris, France, while I read the Phantom of the Opera. Before I could really get into Phantom, she had finished this book and I offered to trade with her. I eventually fell asleep before getting further than the 20th page, but I liked it enough to keep going!

Anyone who is getting their information from instagram, tik tok, or social media, I don't like you at all, and you and I both know who you are. Please read this book before saying things about a conflict you've never heard over before October 7th, 2023.

Got bored, I need to finish it though, I need to practice patience.

So good rn, Napoleon is all upset with his army and they may be about to loose the battle to the Russian troops. The character are the aristocracy so none of them are really fighting.
