DNF at 47%. Started off okay but ultimately nit for me

Daphne has just got very drunk with Miles and agreed to go to the wedding.

She starts fancying Miles very quickly.

24/8 Sabine has kidnapped Rydstrom. He has turned her down. She drugged him and has chained him to a bed in the dungeon.

Bit slow to start off. Quite a lot of background story to set up I guess.

I really want to like this book but the torture has stopped me in my tracks. Am going to give it another go soon.

I was really enjoying this because of the only fans angle. But it’s getting a bit daft now. And a bit boring.

Hanging in there. Still slightly uncomfortable but I will finish it now...

So I'm only 16 pages in but I'm struggling... I'm finding the language and style impenetrable, rather like wading through black treacle. And at the risk of sounding like 'outraged' from Tunbridge Wells, the description of the protagonist's bowels was a bit much for my early morning commute. But I will persevere as 16 pages in is a bit early to judge a book - even for me.
