Hmmmmm. I wish Owen and evie were together but I understand that isn’t gonna happen. Makes me sad really..

Very good! I do like the sound effects, and it was nice to hear it like this. Very easy to picture.
I’m trying to do a reread/listen so I have it fresh in mind for when the new book comes out.

Owen… I do feel bad just because he is just a little kid.
Just met The Queen’s poisoner. How interesting. I love the tiles thing, and he does seem so smart…
Obviously the king has odd gifts/ the ability to warp someone’s mind in a way of sorts… or entice them.

Having never read a book from him before, I’m really enjoying it.
A few terms were confusing but overall, the plot is easy to follow and understand.
I do like the characters.

The only part I didn’t quite get was with Hastings and the invisible ring. I don’t understand the long term impacts of that yet.
I hope Hastings and Maia end up together. I don’t like the Queen at all.

Having never read this author before, I am quite hooked, I’m finding this book to be very interesting thus far, and I’m enjoying the imagery and character building.

The audio book is so good! It really felt like a movie playing in my mind, the sound effects were excellent!
