I'm just dragging through this book...

I really wasn’t drawn to this book at all, but it’s actually very interesting! Funny, well-written, unique voice, etc.

Well...I'm dragging with this one.

Things are getting nasty...finally! I don't know what you would call this author's writing style, but it's a little much. Oddly, there hasn't been much said about cheese! (A little, but come on...it's set in a fromagerie for Pete's sake!)

Augh. It’s flowery to the extreme. Also, I get that the author is trying to set the scene, but the pace is too much all at once.
