this book is HILARIOUS.

Girlhood! I said with joys. Then I took a closer look and saw: evil girlhood.

I thought this book was taking forever to read because it’s boring, but maybe it’s because the subject matter is just deeply depressing..

So it goes..

Yes the mystery is super cool but the drama between the characters is also scrumptious

The plot thickens..

This is making we want to read the Brontë sisters

Oedipus Rex: this might be one of the best plays ever written…

At this point I know it’s going to be a 10/10 and I’m just here to enjoy the ride

Ok I am becoming slightly addicted to this book.. I’m so excited for the last 300 pages I can’t even begin to explain

Wow one scene was so sweet it actually almost brought tears to my eyes. I love gay ppl.

Hippolytus: For me, personally, this play doesn’t hold a candle to Medea, mainly because the explored themes of fate and reverence for the gods is a lot less applicable to todays world than the themes in Medea, but Euripides is still such a good writer and Hippolytus (especially the second half) is so deliciously rich with drama. 3.5 stars

Reading this I am reminded of how I felt when I read the poppy war.. fond memories indeed

I’m realising now that When I attempted to read this a couple years ago I didn’t comprehend anything lololol, but I am still having a lot of OhYea moments
