Not sure if I just don’t like the audiobook narration or the writing itself, but I am not loving this one :(

Ugh I love this book. I saw the movie before reading it, and I think that has only added to my love.

What a gift it is the be alive at the same time as Ann Patchett.

The Amish, professional wrestling, suicide, pedophilia, and incest — why am I reading this book?? I’ve read so many positive reviews of this book, but I have not connected with it AT ALL.

This feels dramatic to say, but realizing I have so much left of this book felt like waking up in the middle of the night and realizing you have hours left to sleep before your alarm.
