I’ve genuinely never read a book like this before. It’s not necessarily gripping, but it’s interesting, in part because I’ve never read anything like it. If I’d written this book, I’d be exceptionally proud of myself. But I also consider DNFing it. But I won’t… fortunately the library keeps auto-renewing it lol

I’m pretty sure I’ve never read a book like this in my life. Every single line in this book is woven together like a complex quilt. It’s interesting. At first I was super confused, but now I’m into it. I’m into it for sure. I’m sitting here wondering where the author got the concept.

a quick read ! i can definitely see why i liked this as a kid. it also was lwk a little violent but not in a super crazy way? but there’s def gore, i think it’s more of a middle schooler book but def read in elementary school. not much to say , but it’s cool! i don’t think ill continue the series but hey who knows.

Going on a tour of books I read when I was a child. This used to be my favoriteeee series. She’s speeding up now, it took some time for Ms Suzanne to set the scene, but I get it - with a place as strange as the Underland

I started reading this because a friend said I should.. at first I was like I’m not a nonfiction girly because nonfiction authors tend to bore me, but Margaret has quite a good thing going here.

Dante just keeps making decisions that make me wonder …. it’s like I understand why you made this one but…

I’m not sure what I was expecting but I don’t think it was this. It’s just like wow… yeah they have a family-owned crematorium. Yeah, Dante got himself in some trouble. But damn, I read before bed and I’m like maybe I need to read something happier before I set off to dreamland 😭 A bit low vibrational ykwim but I do wanna know what exactly the plot is.

i wish i’d read this book faster, because then i would have more of a stake in this… like girl it’s been three months! it’s ight tho goal is by end of the week.

as soon as school was back in session my reading rate TANKED. so yes i’m still reading this book. thoughts .. the book jumps around a ton, so by the time i pic it back up i have to remind myself who the characters even are bc it might be a few chapters before you hear about them again. great way to make everyone seem sus.

before i let go blew me so far away and i’ve been hoping that kennedy could replicate that feeling for me with the rest of the series. she had such a fantastic idea for a story with that book, but i can’t help but feel like soledad and hendrix’s books are just stories she decided to write to keep up with the buzz of before i let go… perhaps im tired of this story structure

hm … okay. so it’s like i saw this coming because it’s just that kind of yk? but doesn’t mean i don’t wanna know what happens next 😂 clever that mcfadden decided to make a part 2 within the book because otherwise id be more disappointed. but now im entertained. the book is entertaining tho bc i def started it last night and im at 60%, so am i just being a hater???

ain’t nothing special about this book in the slightest. rn it’s giving boilerplate housemaid story where the maid is beautiful the wife is a wacko and the husband is handsome. i was really hoping it would give something other than that… i guess we will see

bruh like what is the point of this book? time is just jumping around and either we are in a blast from the past and rebecca is 22 or like she’s reminiscing about her dead son or phillip is explaining some physics and fanboying over alicia merrill. then we hear about the security guard at the front desk for a whole chapter like what is the point??? and im not even half way done. there’s nothing going on bruh
