WOW!! So, we're gonna start this book talking about how we can't know what's in someone's heart, then, not even a chapter later, project an idea on to everyone supporting a particular position. WHy yes, this book is enraging me, why do you ask?

Okay I feel VERY manipulated right now and I do NOT appreciate it.

I'm not going to get into any specific issue because my politics are not one display. That said, I will say it feels as though this author is simply redirecting her empathy in some situations and failing to see that. I kind of wonder if this is one of the lynch pins to current politics.
