WTFried funky fritter batter.... Did Storr actually read Lolita? I mean he uses quote but is what world would anyone consider Humbert Humbert an antihero? Is Storr so unaware that sometime the narrator of a story is the antagonist or is his definition of antihero just lacking in function? *chuck books across room*

I know this is cozy but this rebuild is a little slow for my taste

Love the story though I'll admit the narrative slips in and out of past tense and that breaks my concentration ever so slightly

Slow start, but not in a bad way. The opening is emotional, and this scene is used to deliver a lot of exposition and world-building. I'm excited to see where this leads
