Intriguing start… 100 pages flew by so quickly

This book is by far the most bleak I’ve ever read… this is like 10x more depressing than The Grapes of Wrath

Just finished book 1 of 2 in this volume. It's been a while since my last high fantasy. Not as gritty as I'd like, but this was very fun and I highly enjoyed reading it. Onwards to book 2.

gonna try my hardest to finish this, but the verbosity is making it very difficult

kinda spoiled myself reading some reviews, but I needed some convincing to finish this. it's not superb, but I'll stick around for whatever "gore" there is

Okay so far. I like the fake essay here, but I can do without the second guy chiming in every once in a while to provide tangential footnotes that are pages long. I wonder how much the author took to compile all these fake references.

Hmm… I can’t believe I shed (a few) tears while reading this… that rarely, RARELY happens. Then again, I’ve been kinda emotional since listening to the release of the RED re-recording (yes I’m a Swiftie and proud of it. Go listen to All To Well. Stream RED - Taylor’s version. k bye)
